It will be a great day when the Georgia Avenue Julia’s Empanadas starts to keep consistent hours.
Photo taken at 6:30 pm on a Saturday evening. For the store to be dark at this hour is unacceptable.
Yes, I've complained about this before, and it still irks me. I would eat a ton more empanadas than I do if Julia's started keeping consistent hours and their food was available more often. I'm sure plenty of other people would as well.

It drives me bonkers when businesses are closed inexplicably during posted working hours. Aren't customers worth an explanatory post-it? Geez.
ReplyDeleteThey kept inconsistent hours at their old location at 14th and U as well. Closed up shop right as the neighborhood was starting to boom. Can only imagine they'd be doing monster business there had they managed to stay open past 2004.
ReplyDeleteI went past a few Saturdays ago- this was about 1 pm, and they were closed. I thought they were closed for good.
ReplyDelete@Anonymous: That's totally unacceptable. (I know they're not closed though, as I went there twice this past weekend.)
